Full Loads (FTL)
Dedicated articulated and rigid vehicle capacity for palletised and general UK road freight.
Find out more →The cheapest-looking option is not always the most practical. The right choice depends on how much space the freight uses, how urgent it is and how much handling it can tolerate.

A full load is usually appropriate when the consignment takes most of a trailer, requires a dedicated vehicle or has a fixed collection and delivery plan that makes consolidation unattractive.
FTL can also be sensible for high-volume regular lanes where one carrier can be matched consistently to the route.
PART LOADPart load can work well for smaller pallet consignments where the delivery window allows the carrier to combine freight. The trade-off is that additional handling, routing or time may be involved compared with a dedicated vehicle.
DEDICATED SMALLER VEHICLEA small but urgent consignment may be better on a dedicated van or rigid than on a part-load network. The distance may be similar, but direct transport can reduce handling and give tighter collection and delivery control.
QUOTE INPUTSUseful information includes pallet count, exact dimensions, total weight, stackability, collection and delivery access, loading equipment, deadlines and goods value. Those details let the freight desk compare practical options rather than quoting from pallet count alone.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONSNo. Pricing depends on route, timing, dimensions, weight and available capacity. A dedicated smaller vehicle can sometimes be more cost-effective or operationally safer.
